Pedagogy
The teaching approach used for all the courses offered by OUM/InCEL is learner-centered.
Teacher-talk is kept to the very minimum. The teaching materials and situations
are relevant to their professional / academic needs. There will be various task-based
activities and they are interactive too.
There will be oral and written presentations, discussions, forum, simulations, role-plays and problem-solving activities which call for maximum participation from students / course participants to ensure the course objectives are met.
Quizzes, mid-course/semester and final examination where applicable and necessary will also be conducted on the participants for the duration of the course/programme to evaluate their performances and effectiveness of the course/programme.
Venue/Learning Centres
All INCEL’s courses and programmes can either be conducted in-house or at
Open University Malaysia’s Learning Centres. There are 36 of them and are
located all over Malaysia.
Awarding Certificate
Certificates will be awarded by Open University Malaysia to participants upon successful completion of the course.
